The star of the popular drama Lovely Runner recently took part in a donation campaign initiated by his fans.

According to information from Korea Social Welfare Society, Byeon Woo Seok donated 30 million won, or approximately Rp300 million. The donation serves as the starting point for a charity campaign organized by his fandom.

The social initiative was started by a fan community called “Byeon Woo Seok and Tongtong,” also known as Woo Che Tong. The donation program is scheduled to begin on March 15 and aims to help children prepare for the upcoming school year.

The funds collected will be used to provide school supplies for children in need, allowing them to start the new semester better prepared.

This act of kindness is not the first time Byeon Woo Seok has made a donation. Over the past year, the actor has been known for actively participating in various charitable activities.

Previously, he donated 100 million won o support vulnerable teenage girls. In addition, he also contributed another 100 million won to help cover medical treatment for children and teenage patients.

Beyond his involvement in social causes, Byeon Woo Seok is also known for his close relationship with his fans. On one occasion, he even sent a congratulatory flower wreath to a fan who was getting married, especially someone who had supported him since the early days of his career.

This latest donation campaign is part of the charitable activities regularly carried out by the Woo Che Tong fandom since 2025. The fan community does not only engage in charity during special moments, but also organizes ongoing social initiatives.

In this program, the fundraising campaign will run for eight days. After the donation period ends, fandom members also plan to volunteer directly.

They will help prepare and package school supply kits that will later be distributed to children in need.
