News of the singer’s return became known through a post on her personal Instagram account on Wednesday (March 4). In her Instagram Story, G.NA shared several selfie photos showing her looking cheerful.

In the photos, G.NA is seen smiling at the camera with her long hair flowing down. In another photo taken at a café, she appears happy while making a V sign with her hand.

She also added a short caption that read “Surprise?”, which sparked speculation among fans about the meaning behind the post.

G.NA made her debut as a solo singer in 2010 and quickly gained significant popularity in the K-pop industry. Several of her songs, such as Black & White and Top Girl, successfully attracted fans’ attention and made her widely known.

However, in 2016 her career came to a halt after she was involved in a case related to violating South Korea’s law on the punishment of arranging commercial sex acts. The case sparked major controversy and resulted in a court fine.

Following the incident, G.NA decided to stop all activities in the Korean entertainment industry. She was later reported to have moved and settled in Canada.

Last year, G.NA shared part of her personal story through an Instagram post. In her message, she said that she had kept the story in her heart for a long time.

According to her, working in the Korean entertainment industry had profoundly changed her life. She also revealed that the most painful part was not the incident itself, but the long silence that followed the controversy.
