SecondUpdate.com – Popular South Korean actress Kim Yoo Jung and Park Jinyoung have been confirmed to star in the latest tvN drama titled “100-Day Lie.”

The drama tells a story set during the period of Japanese colonial rule in Korea and is predicted to become one of the most highly anticipated dramas this year.

The series will be directed by Yoo In Sik, who previously achieved great success with the popular drama Extraordinary Attorney Woo. Meanwhile, the script is written by Ryu Bo Ri, a writer also known for the romantic drama Do You Like Brahms?.

100-Day Lie” tells the story of a pickpocket who is assigned a dangerous mission to infiltrate the Japanese colonial government in Korea, which at the time was known as the Government-General of Chosen.

In this drama, Kim Yoo Jung will play the character Lee Ga Kyung, a talented pickpocket who makes a living by stealing on the streets. She is portrayed as a smart and agile person.

Ga Kyung has been saving money from her pickpocketing activities until one day she is recruited by a national liberation movement group.

The group assigns her a secret mission: to infiltrate the Government-General in order to help the struggle against colonial rule.

Meanwhile, Park Jinyoung will play the character Kim Tae Wong, who is also known by his Japanese name, Sato Hideo. He is the adopted son of a high-ranking official who handles state affairs.

Tae Wong is described as someone with excellent language skills. He is fluent in Korean, Japanese, and English.

Thanks to these abilities, he works as a translator at the Government-General office.

It is there that Tae Wong eventually meets Lee Ga Kyung, who is carrying out her infiltration mission. Their meeting is expected to become an important part of the development of the drama’s storyline.

In addition to Kim Yoo Jung and Park Jinyoung, “100-Day Lie” will also feature several well-known actors such as Kim Hyun Joo, Lee Moo Saeng, and Jin Sun Kyu.
