Zootopia 2 Trailer Released, A New Adventure in an Unexplored City

Secondupdate.com – The sequel to the hit animated film Zootopia is finally back! The Zootopia 2 trailer has been released, marking the return of fan-favorite characters Judy Hopps and Nick Wilde in another thrilling adventure. The film is set to premiere in U.S. theaters on November 26, 2025.
According to People, the film once again features Ginnifer Goodwin as the voice of Judy and Jason Bateman as Nick. This time, the duo will uncover a new mystery involving a mysterious figure in a black cloak who appears in the city.
Interestingly, in this sequel, some former villains from the first movie turn into allies. They will join forces with a new character named Gary De’Snake, voiced by Oscar-winning actor Ke Huy Quan. Gary is said to bring major changes to the bustling animal metropolis.
One of the directors of Zootopia 2, Jared Bush, revealed that the film will take audiences to new places within the city that have never been seen before.
Judy and Nick will go undercover on a mission in unfamiliar areas of the city, which will also put their teamwork to the test.
In addition to Judy and Nick, other characters from the first film will return, including:

- Chief Bogo (Idris Elba)
- Yax (Tommy Chong)
- Mr. Big (Maurice LaMarche)
- Clawhauser (Nate Torrence)
- Bellwether (Jenny Slate)
- Bonnie Hopps (Bonnie Hunt)
- Flash (Raymond S. Persi)
The film will also introduce several new characters. Actors like Quinta Brunson and Fortune Feimster will be joining the cast. Brunson will voice Dr. Fuzzby, while Feimster will voice a character named Nibbles.
Zootopia was first released in 2016 and achieved massive global success. The film followed Judy, the first rabbit police officer in Zootopia, who initially clashed with Nick, a cunning fox. However, the two eventually teamed up to solve the mystery of the missing predators.
The first film ended with Nick officially joining the Zootopia Police Department, becoming the first fox to do so.
With a fresh plot and a more expansive world, Zootopia 2 is expected to once again entertain audiences of all ages with its funny adventures, action-packed moments, and heartfelt moral messages.
