Secondupdate.com – The South Korean drama series The Divorce Insurance will premiere on the streaming platform Prime Video starting March 31, 2025.

This romantic comedy drama will be available in Indonesia and more than 240 other countries and regions.

Directed by Lee Won-seok, The Divorce Insurance tells the story of Noh Ki-jun (played by Lee Dong-wook), an experienced insurance expert who has been divorced three times. He then tries to create a divorce insurance product to help people avoid difficulties after separating.

According to Lee Won-seok, the series presents a unique concept as it does not only portray divorce as something negative but also as an opportunity for a fresh start.

"This series is set in an insurance company, where they develop an insurance product to prevent others from suffering due to divorce," said Won-seok in a statement.

Interestingly, all the main cast members share the surname "Lee," including Lee Dong-wook, Lee Joo-been, Lee Kwang-soo, and Lee Da-hee. The director even admitted that he only realized this coincidence after the casting process was completed.

Lee Dong-wook expressed his excitement as it had been a long time since he last starred in a romantic comedy drama.

Meanwhile, Lee Kwang-soo shared his fun experiences during filming.

"The atmosphere on set was really enjoyable. We had many discussions before filming, which was very helpful. All my 'ad-libs' (improvised lines) were well received by everyone. It felt really fun, like coming to set just to have a good time."

Lee Da-hee, who shares many scenes with Lee Kwang-soo, mentioned that even though they hadn't met in a long time, she still felt comfortable working with him.

In addition to the main cast, supporting actors such as Kim Won-hae and Chu So-jung also received praise. According to Lee Da-hee, they successfully brought entertaining characters to life with their excellent improvisation.

This drama is set to entertain audiences with its refreshing and humorous story, along with the strong chemistry between the cast members.
