Secondupdate.com – Robert Pattinson revealed that the film "The Batman: Part II" will begin filming at the end of 2025.

In an interview with Variety on Thursday (Feb 13), the Batman actor stated that the film’s storyline is very intriguing, though he could not yet reveal any plot details.

Pattinson admitted that he already knows the general story but must keep it confidential for now. However, he assured fans that the film will be exciting and captivating.

"I think it starts at the end of the year," Pattinson said, as quoted by Variety on Thursday.

Previously, Warner Bros announced that "The Batman: Part II" had been delayed to 2026, a year later than originally scheduled.

The delay was caused by the Hollywood writers' strike in 2023, which affected numerous film projects, including the Batman sequel.

The film was first announced at CinemaCon in April 2022 and has since become one of the most highly anticipated films.

The first film, "The Batman", released in 2022, depicted Bruce Wayne’s early journey as Batman.

It received overwhelming praise from fans and grossed $770.3 million worldwide.

Alongside Pattinson as Batman, the film also starred Zoƫ Kravitz as Catwoman, Andy Serkis as Alfred Pennyworth, Colin Farrell as Penguin, and Jeffrey Wright as James Gordon.

Given the success of the first film, many are eager to see how Batman’s story will continue in the sequel.
