Hoshi and Woozi of SEVENTEEN Debut as a Duo, Releasing Single Album 'BEAM'

Secondupdate.com – Two members of SEVENTEEN, Hoshi and Woozi, will debut as a new unit by releasing their first single album titled BEAM on March 10 at 6:00 PM local time.

This announcement was made through the K-pop fan community platform Weverse, as well as SEVENTEEN’s official social media accounts.

In the post, they shared a concept teaser for the BEAM album while also introducing their new unit logo.

The released teaser features a play of light and shadow, aligning with the meaning of the album title BEAM, which symbolizes the light emitted by Hoshi and Woozi.

Pledis Entertainment, SEVENTEEN’s agency, explained that this concept represents the unique synergy between the two members.

For context, within SEVENTEEN, Hoshi serves as the leader of the performance team, while Woozi leads the vocal team.

Both were born in 1996 and are expected to showcase remarkable chemistry and musical quality in their new unit.

"As the leaders of SEVENTEEN’s performance and vocal teams, as well as friends born in the same year, they are expected to deliver a strong and unique collaboration in this unit," the statement read.
