Solo Comeback After 9 Years, Taeyang Releases New Album “Quintessence”

The album is scheduled for release on May 18, 2026, and marks Taeyang’s first full-length album in nearly nine years since the release of White Night in 2017. The comeback has immediately sparked excitement among fans around the world.

Through his official social media account on Monday (May 11), Taeyang announced that Quintessence will feature a total of 10 tracks. A song titled Live Fast Die Slow has been chosen as the album’s title track.

Not only returning as a solo artist, Taeyang is also collaborating with several well-known musicians. One of them is The Kid LAROI, who appears on the track Open Up. Meanwhile, the song Would You features collaborations with TARZZAN and Woochan from Allday Project.
