SecondUpdate.com - Krystal Jung is finally preparing to return to the music scene with her latest solo project. After spending quite a long time focusing more on her acting career, the former f(x) member is set to release a new single titled PWLT.
The news was announced directly by Krystal through the latest episode of her personal YouTube content series, Charging Crystals, which was uploaded on the official channel of her agency, BANA.
Through the video, fans were given a closer look at the preparation process for Krystal’s first solo album. Besides discussing the new song, the video also featured various behind-the-scenes moments during the album’s production.
Several clips showed recording sessions with Kuo Hung Tseng from Sunset Rollercoaster, studio work with singer-songwriter and producer Toro y Moi, as well as choreography practice sessions prepared for Krystal’s solo comeback.
The single PWLT will become the second track from Krystal Jung’s debut solo album. The song is scheduled to be released on May 26.
In addition to the digital release, the physical album will also be available through a pre-order period running from May 15 to May 21.
Krystal’s return to the music industry has attracted significant attention from fans. Over the past few years, she has mainly focused on building her acting career after f(x) stopped group activities in 2019.
After leaving SM Entertainment in 2020, Krystal joined H& Entertainment to further pursue acting. However, in 2025, she took a new step by signing with BANA to prepare for her first solo music project.
Now, through PWLT, Krystal is showing her commitment to returning as a solo artist and is ready to greet fans with a new musical style that many have been eagerly waiting for.
