SecondUpdate.com – The K-pop scene is once again buzzing with a new move from Lee Heeseung. After officially leaving the group ENHYPEN in March 2026, he has now begun his journey as a solo artist under a new stage name, “Evan.”

This change marks a new starting point for Heeseung to showcase a more authentic side of himself. The name “Evan” was not chosen without reason. He revealed that it holds emotional significance dating back to his childhood.

“Evan is a name I’ve cherished since I was young, filled with precious memories. Through this name, I want to greet my fans with the most honest music,” he said in an official statement.

As an initial step in introducing his new identity, on April 8, 2026, he launched a new Instagram account under the username @h_evva_n. Through the account, Evan shared several photos that highlight a more relaxed and natural side of himself, different from the stage persona fans have known.

BELIFT LAB also explained that these posts are part of the early process of shaping Evan’s identity as a solo artist. This phase is considered important before he fully establishes his public image.

Previously, Heeseung was known as a member of ENHYPEN, a group formed through the survival show I-LAND in 2020. Through the program, he successfully debuted with the group and gained global popularity.

However, on March 10, 2026, he decided to leave the group that had built his name. This decision marked a major turning point in his career as he transitioned into a solo path.
