A Meaningful Reunion, Hwang In Yeop and Lee Hyeri Reunite in a New Drama

This upcoming series will feature several popular actors and present a touching story about dreams, life pressures, and second chances.

Hwang In Yeop has been cast as the male lead, Woo Soo Bin. He is portrayed as a talented young director who has achieved success at a relatively early age.

However, behind his accomplishments, Soo Bin lives a rigid life under the control and expectations of his parents. This inner conflict pushes him to take a bold step: breaking free from family pressure and pursuing the life he truly desires.

Meanwhile, Lee Hyeri plays Jo Yi Jae, a hardworking reporter. Despite her strong appearance, Yi Jae is actually experiencing burnout.

A series of failures has left her feeling lost and discouraged. Her life gradually begins to change when she is reunited with Soo Bin, someone from her past who once held a significant place in her life.

The story centers on their reunion after years of separation.

Soo Bin’s return to South Korea becomes a turning point that revives old memories, including dreams and feelings that Yi Jae had long buried. From that moment on, both of them begin to confront their past while opening new possibilities for the future.

In addition to the two main stars, Baek Sung Chul also joins the cast. He plays Shim Yoo Geon, a rookie actor struggling to survive in Seoul.

Despite coming from a rural area and facing the harsh realities of city life, Yoo Geon remains determined to pursue his acting dreams. He even aspires to become an iconic figure like Takeshi Kaneshiro in South Korea.

The drama will be directed by Yoo Seon-dong, who previously found success with the series The Uncanny Counter.

The script is written by Jung Eun-bi, who has worked on popular projects such as Mr. Sunshine and Goblin.

With its emotional storyline, strong characters, and an experienced cast and crew, this drama is expected to become one of the most anticipated shows. The series is scheduled to premiere in the second half of 2026.
