Brad Arnold formed 3 Doors Down in 1996 alongside guitarist Matt Roberts and bassist Todd Harrell. Harrell passed away earlier in 2016. Outside of his music career, Arnold also battled alcohol addiction and revealed that he had been sober for about ten years, a period he described as the best time of his life.
3 Doors Down rose to global fame after releasing the song “Kryptonite” in 2000. The track propelled the band to mainstream success, followed by the achievements of their debut album The Better Life, which earned multi-platinum certification.
