SecondUpdate.com – Veteran Hollywood actor Tommy Lee Jones has finally released a statement following the tragic news of his daughter, Victoria Jones, which has surfaced publicly.

Victoria was reported to have passed away at the age of 34 and was found lifeless in a hotel room in San Francisco in the early hours of New Year’s Day 2026.

The news has undoubtedly been a heavy blow for the Oscar-winning actor. In his statement, Tommy Lee Jones did not say much. He simply asked for understanding from the public and requested privacy for himself and his family as they grieve.

As of now, the cause of Victoria Jones’ death has not been officially disclosed. Authorities are still conducting an investigation into the incident.

According to reports from local media, emergency services received a call on Thursday (1/1) at approximately 3:14 a.m. local time. Paramedics who arrived at the scene immediately checked the victim’s condition and pronounced Victoria Jones dead.

A spokesperson for the San Francisco Fire Department explained that before medical teams arrived, witnesses at the location had been instructed to perform first aid in the form of CPR. Unfortunately, Victoria’s life could not be saved.

Victoria Jones was the daughter of Tommy Lee Jones and his second wife, Kimberlea Cloughley. She was known to have followed in her father’s footsteps in the acting world from a young age.

At the age of 11, Victoria appeared in the film Men in Black II (2002). Her career continued with a role in the television series One Tree Hill (2003).

She was also involved in the film The Three Burials of Melquiades Estrada (2005), a project directed by and starring her father.
