D.O. EXO Is Saddened That He Can’t Attend Kim Woo Bin’s Wedding, Here’s the Reason

SecondUpdate.com – D.O. of EXO revealed his feelings of sadness and disappointment over being unable to attend the wedding of his close friend, actor Kim Woo Bin.

The long-awaited happy moment for Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah, scheduled to take place on December 20, 2025, was something he had been looking forward to for a long time.

In an interview held on December 11 at a café in Samcheong-dong, Seoul, D.O. candidly shared the major dilemma he had to face. 

He was forced to miss his friend’s special day because EXO is scheduled to perform at the 2025 Melon Music Awards (MMA) on the same date.

“I’m really disappointed,” D.O. said.

Even so, he acknowledged that his responsibilities as a member of EXO could not be ignored. D.O. admitted that he had known about Kim Woo Bin’s wedding plans long before they were announced to the public. 

He had even prepared a special surprise for his friend, one of which was to personally sing a congratulatory song at the wedding.

However, all of those plans had to be canceled after the wedding ceremony was scheduled to clash with EXO’s performance at the MMA.

The situation made D.O. feel deeply guilty. He said he had repeatedly apologized to Kim Woo Bin for his absence. Fortunately, Kim Woo Bin was said to be very understanding of his friend’s circumstances.

“I feel guilty toward Woo Bin. I keep telling him that,” he said, adding that his friend was very understanding of the situation.

Although he cannot attend in person, D.O. emphasized that he does not want to simply miss such a joyful moment in his friend’s life. 

He is currently thinking of a special and meaningful way to still celebrate the wedding of Kim Woo Bin and Shin Min Ah.

For D.O., presence does not always have to be physical. He still wants to offer his support, prayers, and sincere care as a reflection of their long-standing friendship. 

D.O. hopes that the special gesture he is preparing will become a sweet memory for the couple as they begin a new chapter in their lives.
