Taylor Lautner Returns to Acting with the Series 'Werewolf Hunter'

Secondupdate.com – Actor Taylor Lautner, best known as Jacob Black in the Twilight films, is making his return to acting.

Lautner is reportedly set to star in and serve as an executive producer for a new TV series titled Taylor Lautner: Werewolf Hunter. The series is currently in development at Amazon MGM Studios.

According to a report by Variety on Thursday (Feb 13), the project was brought to Amazon by Tornante, an independent studio previously responsible for Bojack Horseman and Undone.

The series will be co-produced by Amazon MGM Studios and Tornante, with Daily Gardner serving as the creator and showrunner.

In addition to Lautner, the project will also feature Matthew Bettinelli-Olpin and Tyler Gillett as directors and executive producers from Radio Silence. Adam Londy from Tornante and Tarif Kanafani have also joined as executive producers.

The series presents a fictional story centered on Lautner’s life after the final Twilight film. It is depicted that, after Twilight, Lautner disappeared from the public eye, sparking various speculations.

However, it turns out he wasn’t just taking a break for his mental health but was also preparing for his true calling.

In Taylor Lautner: Werewolf Hunter, Lautner will play himself. He joins a secret organization of werewolf hunters who need his expertise. By day, he leads the life of a Hollywood actor, but by night, he battles supernatural creatures.

The series also introduces a unique conflict: Lautner must fight werewolves—the very creatures that made him famous in the entertainment industry.

Beyond saving the world, he must also face challenges in rebuilding his career and finding true love.
