Netflix Presents 'Show Business', the Latest Korean Drama Starring Gong Yoo and Song Hye Kyo

Secondupdate.com – Renowned South Korean actor Gong Yoo and actress Song Hye Kyo have been confirmed to star in Netflix’s latest original series, written by acclaimed screenwriter Noh Hee Kyung.

According to a report by Yonhap on Monday (Feb 10), the series, tentatively titled "Show Business", will depict the struggles of individuals striving for success in South Korea's entertainment industry during the 1960s to 1980s.

Song Hye Kyo, who previously gained massive success with the drama "The Glory", will play Min Ja, an ambitious woman who seizes opportunities in the music industry to achieve success. 

Meanwhile, Gong Yoo, known for his roles in the Netflix series "The Trunk" and "Squid Game", will portray Dong Gu, Min Ja’s friend who also aspires to make it big in the entertainment industry.

In addition to Song Hye Kyo and Gong Yoo, the series will also feature Kim Seol Hyeon, Cha Seung Won, and Lee Ha Yoon. The drama is directed by Lee Yoon Jung, a filmmaker well known for her works in the Korean drama scene.

Unfortunately, Netflix has yet to announce an official release date for "Show Business". However, the project has already been confirmed through the official Instagram account of Netflix South Korea.

This series is highly anticipated by fans, as it brings together two of South Korea's most celebrated stars who have long been active in the entertainment industry.
