Lisa BLACKPINK Makes Acting Debut in HBO Series The White Lotus Season 3 as a Thai Resort Staff Member

 Secondupdate.com – Lisa BLACKPINK, also known as Lalisa Manoban, is set to showcase her acting skills in the third season of HBO's The White Lotus.

She will play Mook, a staff member at The White Lotus resort in Thailand who is fluent in English.

According to Elle, Mook befriends a resort security guard named Gaitok, played by Tayme Thapthimthong.

As reported by Variety, Lisa revealed that she did not get the role instantly. Despite being a famous K-pop star, she still had to go through an audition process like other candidates. Lisa submitted an audition video, received a callback, and eventually met the show's creator, Mike White, in person.

Even with her global fame, Lisa maintained professionalism and humility throughout the audition and filming process. Dave Bernad, executive producer of The White Lotus, initially worried that her popularity might be a distraction. However, Lisa proved to be a dedicated actress who was easy to work with.

As a Thai-born artist, Lisa is fluent in both Thai and English, which helped her in portraying Mook. She described acting as an exciting new experience and expressed her enthusiasm for filming The White Lotus.

In the series, Mook catches the attention of many, including Chelsea, played by Aimee Lou Wood.
