Kim Chaewon of LE SSERAFIM Takes Temporary Hiatus After Neck Injury, Agency Cancels Several Schedules

The announcement was made directly by the group’s agency, SOURCE MUSIC, through an official statement released on Weverse on Tuesday, May 19, 2026.

According to the statement, Chaewon had recently complained of pain in her neck area and later underwent a medical examination.

Based on the examination results, doctors advised the 25-year-old idol to take a temporary break in order to focus on her recovery. As a result, the agency decided to minimize all of Chaewon’s activities until her condition fully improves.

SOURCE MUSIC explained that the decision was made after carefully considering Chaewon’s overall physical condition. The agency wants to ensure that the artist can eventually return to her normal activities without pushing herself too hard during the recovery process.
