First Time! Khalid Teams Up with Ahn Hyo-seop for New Single ‘Something Special’

SecondUpdate.com - South Korean actor and singer Ahn Hyo-seop is once again drawing public attention. This time, he is set to release a global collaboration single with American R&B musician Khalid.

The song, titled Something Special, is scheduled to be released on May 22, 2026. The collaboration was officially announced on May 5, 2026, and immediately sparked excitement among fans of both artists.

This music project is the result of a partnership between Korean music platform MUSICOW and global entertainment company Roc Nation. Through the song, Ahn Hyo-seop and Khalid will blend K-pop and R&B influences, aiming to bring a fresh sound to the international music industry.

The collaboration also marks a special milestone for Khalid, as Something Special will be his first official project with a South Korean artist. Unsurprisingly, fans are eager to hear the chemistry between their vocals.

Khalid is widely known for hit songs such as Location and Better. His soft and emotional vocal style is expected to blend well with Ahn Hyo-seop’s distinctive voice.

The project also features several well-known producers. Lee Wooseok has been appointed as the main producer. He is recognized for producing Nobody by Wonder Girls.
