SecondUpdate.com – American pop singer Meghan Trainor has officially canceled her latest concert tour titled Get In Girl, which was previously scheduled to begin in June 2026.

The decision was made after she found it difficult to balance her work schedule with her family life.

The tour was originally intended to promote Trainor’s upcoming new album. However, with her family recently growing, she chose to postpone her stage activities to focus on her home life.

In a statement she shared on social media on Friday (April 17), Meghan Trainor revealed that canceling the tour was not an easy decision.

She explained that the responsibilities arriving all at once made the situation too overwhelming to handle simultaneously.

The 32-year-old singer had just welcomed her third child in January 2026.

The baby girl is her first daughter with her husband, Daryl Sabara, who was born via surrogate.

According to Trainor, taking care of her family, which now consists of five members, has become her top priority. She feels the need to be fully present during this important period, especially while her child is still in the early stages of development.

She also emphasized that this decision is the best choice for herself and her family at the moment. Nevertheless, Trainor assured fans that she will return to the stage in the future.

The Get In Girl tour was first announced in November 2025 and was planned to take place in several major cities across the United States.

The opening concert was scheduled for June 12, 2026, in Clarkston, Michigan.

In addition, several prestigious venues were included in the tour schedule, such as Madison Square Garden in New York City, Chase Center in San Francisco, and Kia Forum in Los Angeles as the closing venue on August 15, 2026.

The tour was expected to be one of the major promotional events for her new album.

Although the official reason for the cancellation is family-related, several entertainment media outlets have mentioned other speculations.

A report from Variety stated that some netizens suspect that underwhelming ticket sales may also have been an additional factor.

The speculation arose after seating maps at several concert venues showed that many seats remained unsold in previous months.

However, as of now, there has been no official confirmation from Meghan Trainor regarding these allegations.

Despite the tour cancellation, Meghan Trainor will continue with the release of her seventh album titled Toy with Me.

The album is scheduled to be released on April 24, 2026.

Trainor said she is very proud of her new album and hopes that fans will continue to support her even though the tour has been canceled.

At the end of her statement, Meghan Trainor expressed her gratitude to fans who have supported her career over the years. She also promised to return to the stage when the situation allows.

For fans, this news is certainly disappointing. However, many also understand that prioritizing family is a reasonable decision, especially amid major changes in the personal life of an artist.
