SecondUpdate.com – South Korean actor Lee Tae Ri recently announced both a joyful and significant update: he is ready to leave bachelorhood behind and start a new life with his partner.

The news was shared through an official statement by his agency, Y1 Entertainment, on Wednesday (April 1, 2026).

In the statement, the agency explained that Lee Tae Ri’s fiancé is a non-celebrity. “Actor Lee Tae Ri will get married this coming May to someone very special to him. His fiancé is a non-celebrity, and they are committed to spending their lives together,” the agency wrote.

The agency emphasized that the wedding ceremony will be private, attended only by family and close friends. They asked for the public’s understanding as details such as the date, time, and location of the wedding will not be disclosed. Additionally, the agency expressed gratitude to fans and requested prayers and support for Lee Tae Ri.

Lee Tae Ri first appeared in the acting world as a child actor in 1998 through the drama Soonpoong Clinic. He began his adult acting career in 2012, portraying the young version of Prince Yangmyeong in the drama The Moon Embracing the Sun.

Since then, he has appeared in various popular dramas, including The Great Seer, Sword and Flower, Extraordinary You, Tale of the Nine-Tailed, and Young Lady and Gentleman.

Before 2017, Lee Tae Ri was known by his birth name, Lee Min Ho. He changed his stage name shortly after joining a new agency. In his statement, he described this decision as a step toward beginning a new chapter in his career.
