Jisoo BLACKPINK’s Older Brother Under Scrutiny, Allegedly Involved in Sexual Harassment and Domestic Violence Accusations

Not only is he suspected of being involved in a sexual harassment case, but he has also been accused of committing domestic violence against his wife.

The case began with reports from Korean media stating that Gangnam Police detained a man in his 30s on suspicion of sexually harassing a female streamer. Although the suspect’s identity has not been officially disclosed by authorities, public speculation quickly pointed to Jisoo’s older brother after several case details circulated widely.

According to circulating reports, the victim initially met the suspect through a service described as a “dating ticket.” The two reportedly met for food and drinks before the suspect invited the victim to his home. At that location, the victim was said to have repeatedly refused sexual advances but still experienced acts of harassment.

In addition to the alleged harassment, the suspect was also reported to have been driving under the influence of alcohol prior to the incident. This prompted the police to take action and detain the man for further questioning.

Speculation about the suspect’s identity intensified after local media displayed a blurred image showing Jisoo alongside a man believed to be her brother. However, as of now, there has been no official confirmation from the police regarding whether the detained man is indeed a family member of the idol. Jisoo’s name has also been drawn into the coverage, although she is not directly involved in the case.

Before the sexual harassment allegations subsided, new accusations emerged from a woman claiming to be the suspect’s wife. Through a post on a Korean online forum on Saturday (April 18), the woman claimed she had experienced various forms of abuse during their marriage.

She alleged that her husband frequently violated her privacy, including checking her phone without permission and altering personal data. In addition, she claimed that her communication with others was tightly restricted.

In another post, the woman stated that her husband often controlled how she dressed and restricted her daily activities. She was even required to report every activity she carried out. Furthermore, she claimed to have frequently experienced coercion within their marital relationship.

Additional reports circulating also mentioned that the man had previously gone through a divorce and was suspected of committing similar acts against his ex-wife. There were even allegations that he once sent staff to his wife’s family home in an attempt to pressure them into remaining silent about the issue.

Although various allegations have spread widely on social media and online forums, there has been no official statement from the police clearly revealing the suspect’s identity. The investigation process is still ongoing, and the public is awaiting confirmation from authorities.

On the other hand, Jisoo’s older brother has been known to actively assist his sister’s activities in the entertainment industry. However, as these allegations continue to develop, public attention is now focused on the progress of the case being handled by the police.
