SecondUpdate.com – Sad news has come from the South Korean entertainment industry. Actor Lee Sang Bo was reported to have passed away on Thursday, March 26, 2026, at his residence. He died at the age of 44.

According to Korean media reports such as Hankook Ilbo, police arrived at the scene after receiving a report from his family. As of now, the exact cause of Lee Sang Bo’s death is still under investigation.

Meanwhile, his agency has confirmed his passing and arranged the cremation process. The Chosun Daily reported that the funeral was held at the Central Funeral Hall in Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province.

Lee Sang Bo was born in 1981 and began his acting career in 2006 through the drama Invisible Man Choi Jang Soo. Since then, he remained active in various drama projects.

He was known as a consistent actor with strong acting skills across different genres.

Around four years ago, Lee Sang Bo drew public attention due to allegations of drug use. However, after an investigation, he was not charged due to insufficient evidence.

At the time, Lee explained that the misunderstanding occurred because he was taking antidepressant medication prescribed by a doctor. He also expressed his intention to restore his image through his acting work.
