SecondUpdate.com — OH MY GIRL have finally brought happy news to their fans. The South Korean girl group has confirmed that they will be making a comeback with a full lineup after a long hiatus from group activities.
The news was announced directly by their agency, WM Entertainment, through an official statement on Saturday (Feb 13). In the statement, the agency said that all OH MY GIRL members have agreed to resume activities as a group, including those who are currently signed under different agencies.
According to WM Entertainment, the members who remain under the agency and those who have moved to other companies gathered and held discussions together. As a result, they share the same commitment to continue group activities. The comeback is planned for the first half of this year, focusing on concerts and promotions for a new album.
To support this plan, WM Entertainment is also coordinating with RBW so that group activities can run flexibly without being hindered by agency differences. This step was taken to ensure that all members can participate in OH MY GIRL’s activities.
For reference, OH MY GIRL’s last comeback was in 2022 with the album Real Love. Since then, the members have focused more on individual activities, making fans wait quite a long time for the group’s latest project.
Four members Hyojung, Mimi, Seunghee, and Yoo Bin, renewed their contracts with WM Entertainment last year. Meanwhile, YooA and Arin continued their careers under different agencies, namely Saram Entertainment and ATRP. Even so, both remain committed to taking part in group activities.
The comeback plan has been warmly welcomed by fans. After nearly four years without a group release, many are eagerly anticipating the new musical style and fresh concept that OH MY GIRL will showcase in their upcoming project.
