Previously, fans grew concerned after Arno did not appear at a promotional event held on Wednesday (January 21) at a radio show.

It was revealed that Arno, whose real name is Zhang Jiahao, is currently in the recovery phase after suffering a bone fracture due to a fall down the stairs. Because of this condition, he had been participating in promotional activities on a limited basis in order to prioritize his recovery.

However, his absence from the latest radio appearance raised many questions among fans regarding his current health condition.

In response, WAKEONE released an official statement on Thursday (January 22) to clarify the situation. In the statement, WAKEONE explained that Arno experienced severe swelling around his eye area and required medical treatment. According to the doctor’s examination, he was diagnosed with an acute allergic reaction.

The agency also apologized for not being able to provide information to fans sooner. They explained that Arno’s condition worsened suddenly, and their main priority at the time was ensuring he received proper medical care.

WAKEONE emphasized that they will provide full support for Arno’s recovery process. They also asked for understanding and continued support from fans so that the artist can rest and recover fully.
