Secondupdate.com – The South Korean action-horror film titled Holy Night: Demon Hunters is set to premiere in Indonesian theaters on Wednesday, May 7, 2025.

Directed by Lim Dae-hee, the film features a star-studded cast including Ma Dong-seok, Seohyun, Lee David, Kyung Soo-jin, and Jung Ji-so, according to information from Rotten Tomatoes.

The story centers on a secret team called “Holy Night,” consisting of three individuals with supernatural powers.

Their special mission is to save the city of Seoul from chaos caused by a satan-worshipping criminal network.

As the police become overwhelmed by the escalating crime, they turn to the Holy Night team for help.

The team is led by Ba Woo (played by Ma Dong-seok), who possesses incredible physical strength. He is joined by Sharon (Seohyun), who can sense and expel demonic presences, and Kim Gun (Lee David), a loyal member skilled in technical operations.

The plot intensifies when a psychiatrist named Jung-won (Kyung Soo-jin) approaches them for help, asking the Holy Night team to save her sister, Eun-seo (Jung Ji-so), who has been possessed by a demon.

The tension rises further as they face an evil force far more powerful than anything they’ve encountered before.

The dark and eerie atmosphere of Seoul adds to the film’s mysterious and chilling tone.

As a companion to the story, fans can also read its prequel webtoon titled Holy Night: The Zero, released on Naver Webtoon in October 2024.

Illustrated by Jeong Han-gil, the webtoon explores the backstories of the three main characters before the events of the film.
