Secondupdate.com – South Korean actor Cha Eun Woo has been confirmed to star in the upcoming comedy film First Ride (tentative title).

This news was first reported by a media outlet stating that Cha Eun Woo had been chosen as the lead actor for the film.

Responding to the report, his agency, Fantagio, confirmed that the actor had accepted the offer.

"Cha Eun Woo recently decided to star in the film First Ride and accepted the casting offer. We are very grateful for the support and love given to Cha Eun Woo. We also hope you will continue to support him in the future," Fantagio stated, as quoted by Soompi on Thursday.

About First Ride

The film First Ride tells the story of four friends who have maintained a long-standing friendship.

As they enter their 30s, they decide to embark on their first trip abroad together. However, their journey takes an unexpected turn, leading to a series of exciting and unpredictable events.

Previously, actor Kang Ha Neul was also reported to be in talks to join the film. If confirmed, he will play one of the four friends at the center of the story.

Currently, Cha Eun Woo is busy filming the Netflix series The WONDERfools, which also stars Park Eun Bin, Kim Hae Sook, Choi Dae Hoon, Im Sung Jae, and many other actors.

With Cha Eun Woo joining First Ride, fans are now even more excited about this upcoming film project.
