Secondupdate.com - Marvel Studios has officially released the first trailer for the film The Fantastic Four: First Steps, which is set to hit theaters on July 25, 2025. According to Variety on Tuesday, the film marks the official debut of Marvel's First Family.
"Welcome to the family. Marvel Studios’ #TheFantasticFour: First Steps arrives in theaters July 25," wrote Marvel Studios' Instagram account on Tuesday (4/2).
The film stars several renowned actors and actresses, including Pedro Pascal as Mr. Fantastic, Vanessa Kirby as Invisible Woman, Joseph Quinn as Human Torch, and Ebon Moss-Bachrach as The Thing.
Additionally, the cast includes Ralph Ineson as Galactus, Julia Garner as Silver Surfer, Paul Walter Hauser, Natasha Lyonne, and John Malkovich.
In the circulating trailer, glimpses of the heroes’ lives before and after they gained their powers are shown, along with a brief appearance of the villain Galactus.
Moreover, the film emphasizes the importance of the Fantastic Four as a united team: "Whatever happens in life, we face it together—as a family," Kirby says in the clip.
This version of Fantastic Four is set in a retro-futuristic 1960s Manhattan. According to Kevin Feige on The Official Marvel Podcast, the film will be set in New York City.
