SecondUpdate.com – Park Solomon, better known by his stage name Lomon, is one of the young actors whose name is now increasingly recognized in South Korea’s entertainment industry as well as on the international stage.

His face became widely known to global audiences after starring in the popular Netflix series All of Us Are Dead, which was released in 2022 and achieved major success in many countries.

Lomon was born on November 11, 1999, in Tashkent, Uzbekistan. He has a Koryo-saram background, referring to the ethnic Korean community whose ancestors migrated to regions of the Russian Empire in the 19th century.

Although he was born and spent part of his early life outside South Korea, Park Solomon considers himself Korean and grew up strongly influenced by Korean culture.

Before settling in South Korea, his family lived in Russia for a time. While still in elementary school, Solomon moved to South Korea and completed his entire education there.

He graduated from Apgujeong High School in Gangnam, Seoul, a school known for having many alumni from the celebrity world and prominent K-pop idols.

He officially began using “Lomon” as his stage name in 2020. The name was derived from a shortened form of his real name, Solomon, making it simpler and easier to remember.

His multicultural background sets Lomon apart from many actors of his generation in South Korea’s highly competitive entertainment industry.

Park Solomon began his acting career at a young age. He made his debut in 2014 through the dramas Bride of the Century and 4 Legendary Witches.

Although he only played minor roles at the time, his acting ability was already noticeable and became an important foundation for his future career.

His name started to gain attention when he was frequently cast as the younger version of main characters in popular dramas such as Doctors and Shopaholic Louis in 2016.

In the same year, he also took on a new challenge by appearing in the horror feature film Horror Stories 3, further enriching his acting experience.

A major turning point in his career came in 2017 when he landed a leading role in the teen drama Sweet Revenge (Revenge Note).

His performance in the drama made Lomon increasingly popular among young audiences.

That same year, his acting in the drama The Guardians (Lookout) earned him a nomination for Best Young Actor at the 2017 MBC Drama Awards, an important achievement for an actor of his age.

The peak of Park Solomon’s popularity came when he played Lee Su-hyeok in the Netflix series All of Us Are Dead.

The zombie-themed series achieved massive global success and brought Lomon widespread recognition beyond South Korea. His performance was praised as strong and emotional, capturing the attention of international viewers.

In addition to his acting skills, Park Solomon possesses other strengths that support his global career.

He is fluent in Korean and also has proficiency in Mandarin, an added advantage in an increasingly globalized entertainment industry.

With his talent, experience, and unique cultural background, Park Solomon continues to show promising career growth.

He is now regarded as one of the most potential young actors ready to compete on the international entertainment stage.
